Best Practice Recommendation for incorporating video on site
I. Onboarding Process complete
II. Implement Inform Video on site
Inform offers a turn-key solution for video distribution, providing the content library and technology needed to add video to your pages.
Inform's Digital Media Exchange (DME) features its content library, where thousands of videos are ingested daily from national content sources and local broadcasters.
Content is segmented by vertical and source for users to browse. Inform's in-house editorial staff powers playlists that feature premium trending videos on a daily basis.
Users may search for unique videos to add to their site and generate the embed code in the DME.
*As a part of the Onboarding Process, each user that is responsible for placing video on site should have been given credentials to the DME. If not, please contact your Inform rep or PartnerSupport@inform.com for login information.
Inform currently supports three player options:
1.) Trending Video Player
Partners use this player to feature "snackable" video content prominently on site. Positioned on the homepage, Inform powers the player and thumbnail strip with the latest trending video relevant for each station genre.
Partners use this single embed placement to match premium video with content on site. Sites position the headline player below the head as an additional player solution for increased page monetization. Sites position the player below the headline at the top of the page with the polite autoplay and floating player behavior to maximize user engagement and ad viewability. The video content and embed code can be found within Inform's Digital Media Exchange (DME).
Partners use this fixed right-rail placement as an additional player solution for increased page monetization. Sites position the unit parallel to the main content of the page, typically in the right rail, to maximize user engagement and ad viewability. The content recommendations from the sidebar player are populated by playlists managed within Inform's Digital Media Exchange (DME).
